Number Placement & General Rules
Three Numbers Required: One on the front and one on each side of the motorcycle.
Road Race Motorcycles: Side numbers must be placed on both sides of the tail section. If insufficient space is available, such as on smaller Ohvale models, numbers must be placed on the side fairings. We prefer numbers on all side fairings on all Road Race motorcycles.
Color & Contrast: Numbers must be black and a white background.
Font: Simple, easy-to-read block-style numbers only. No decorative, italicized, or outlined-only fonts.
Visibility: Numbers must remain clearly visible with the rider seated on the motorcycle. Graphics and sponsor logos must not obstruct numbers.
Small Bike Exceptions: Where factory number plate dimensions prevent compliance, the largest practical numbers must be used, subject to approval by GSC technical inspection.
Technical Inspection: GSC officials have final authority regarding number size, placement, and legibility and may require changes before a motorcycle is permitted on track.
#1 plate specs
Class champions have the option to run the number one and/or the Flo Yellow on their motorcycle.
